Are you surprised that TikTok is the most popular app in the world, while free fire is the most downloaded game of 2021? Obviously not!
On Google play, Paramount+ has become a favorite app for users, winning the "users choice 2021" category. The favorite game of the users was Garena Free Fire MAX. Balance is the best app in the Google store, and the best game is Pokémon UNITE.
The best apps for tablets on Google’s top are Canva, concepts, Houzz. The best games for tablets have been designated Chicken Police — Paint it red!, League of legends: Wild Rift, My Friend Pedro: Rise for revenge, overboard! And the process to Calvary.
As for Apple, the iPhone app of the year is the Toca Life World, from Toca Boca, and on the winning iPad is LumaFusion, created by LumaTouch.
On the iPhone, the best game of the year is “League of legends: Wild Rift”, which is also on Google’s top at “best competitive Games” in 2021.
On iPad, the game of the year is Marvel future Revolution, also one of the Google play winners in this year’s “best competitive Games” category. Apple also named apps with the greatest impact on people’s lives socially, personally, and professionally in 2021 and included them in the year Trend category.

In 2021, app store revenue reached $133 billion, a 19,7 percent increase from $111 billion in apps, games and mobile subscriptions in 2020.
Apple grew 17,7% compared to 2020, and Google grew 23,5% year-on-year.
For the first 11 months of 2021, TikTok made $2 billion, and by the end of the year it could reach $2,3 billion – double the $1,2 billion it made in all of 2020. This amount is the total TikTok received from both app stores.
